Just In: Tuchel Makes Final Decision On Ronaldo After The Man United Star Agreed Deal With Chelsea

As per semi-reliable Spanish news outlet Diario AS, Cristiano Ronaldo had an agreement in place to join Chelsea.

However, the transfer did not go through as manager Thomas Tuchel ‘blocked the operation’.

As of now, the chances of Ronaldo joining Chelsea are ‘around 5%’, the report adds.

It was earlier reported that Tuchel does not want any superstar signings this summer he doesn’t want to disrupt the squad’s balance or repeat the expensive mistake the club made with Romelu Lukaku last summer.

But with the lack of firepower at his disposal so far going into the new season, the German manager could soften his stand on signing the Portuguese superstar.

Ronaldo has been pushing to leave Manchester United this summer in search of a Champions League football after Manchester United failed to qualify for the elite competition.

Although the Red Devils are reluctant to sanction any sale relating to Ronaldo, the 37-year-old and his agent Jorge Mendes has been pushing tirelessly to find the solution as quickly as possible.
