Romelu Lukaku got himself in hot water at Chelsea last month after giving a controversial interview to Sky Sport Italia.
The Belgian spoke about his unhappiness at Stamford Bridge, hinting that he would be open to returning to Inter Milan in the near future.
The striker subsequently issued an apology and returned to the team and manager Thomas Tuchel wants the media to leave the 28-year-old alone.
The German said: “We do everything to help Romelu. I think this is absolutely the wrong questions because it is focusing on one player. He is a key player and we want him to be a key player, but for me, this is the wrong approach.
“This is what we do constantly, for any player. This is a team sport. It is not about 10 players serving one player. This is not Chelsea, and it is not football. Every player is serving the team. That is the highest principle, and will never change.”
