Breaking: Tuchel Chooses Between Trevoh Chalobah and Levi Colwill Who He Will Keep In Chelsea Squad Next Season
Rumors are floating around of Levi Colwill wanting to leave Chelsea as the Blues have already signed Kalidou Koulibaly and want to add two more center-backs to the squad this summer.
Asked for his opinion on the youngster’s future, Thomas Tuchel told the media (via the Evening Standard): “With Levi, it is too early to answer.
“What I will say now is maybe I have to take back or give another opinion in a few weeks, I simply haven’t seen enough of him in our group. He got a bit of an injury and was out of training for several days.
“Once you are out it takes a while to catch up, especially for those who aren’t used to that level. The fact he is still here is very easy, we don’t know him enough so he needs to stay here.
“We need more impressions of him to get a better outlook on the situation. But like what [Trevoh] Chalobah did last season, everyone is invited to do the same.”

Chalobah was handed a start for Chelsea during the first few weeks of last season due to injury issues to other defenders.
He made the most of the chance, scoring a goal in his very first game and playing well whenever called upon, ending the season with 30 appearances.
Tuchel hints that Colwill must similarly wait for his chances and perform well in training to be given a shot in the starting XI.
