Jorginho made two costly mistakes in Chelsea’s three latest games. The Euro 2020 winner’s poor control resulted in Sancho’s strike in the United draw while his poor pass to Mendy led to West Ham’s opener on Saturday.
But Thomas Tuchel reveals the midfielder is carrying an injury and is playing through pain.
“Jorginho is playing with hip pain for many matchdays and you can see it,” Tuchel said after the West Ham game.
Thumbs up to Jorginho for playing through pain while Chelsea wait for Kante and Kovacic to return from injuries.
However, starting the Italo-Brazilian is becoming too costly for the Blues due to his mistakes so perhaps Tuchel might want to bet on Barkley or Saul.
