Hakim Ziyech would be prepared to leave Chelsea in January, The Telegraph’s Matt Law said on the London Is Blue Podcast.
He reportedly believes he deserves a bigger role in the team and wants to play more regularly.
However, his wish is extremely unlikely to be granted next month. Thomas Tuchel has no desire to part ways with any first-team player in the middle of the season.
Chelsea’s squad depth might seem substantial but during the recent Covid outbreak, Tuchel had only three attackers he could rely on in every game. One of them was Ziyech who was in the starting XI for games with Everton and Wolves.
Barcelona and AC Milan were rumored to be keen on Ziyech but if any move is going to happen, it’s likely to be in the summer.
