Chelsea thrashed Malmo 4-0 at Stamford Bridge in our Champions League group stage game 3, scoring two goals in each half of the 90.
However, there is a little worrying news for the Blues despite the convincing win as our two top strikers limped off during the game. Manager Thomas Tuchel has provided an update on their injuries for the moment;
“We have a twist of the ankle for Romelu and muscle injury and hamstring for Timo,” Thomas Tuchel said after the Malmo game.
“They will be out for some games, I guess.
“Always, always [injury frustration]. Normally we are in a good place injury-wise.
“We only had Christian Pulisic out, but we miss everybody. We have a lot of games and competitions, so now we have to deal and find solutions, no excuses.”
Chelsea won the game 4-0 but both Lukaku and Werner had to be taken off in the first half with injuries.
