Thomas Tuchel Provides Much-Needed Update On Ben Chilwell’s Injury After Juve Win

Ben Chilwell was forced off the pitch and replaced by Azpilicueta in the 70th minute of Chelsea’s 4-0 win over Juventus on Tuesday in the Champions League.

“He feels a bit better,” Thomas Tuchel said at a press conference after the Juventus victory when asked about Ben Chilwell’s injury.

“We hope for the best. Hopefully, we get away, fingers crossed.”

“It worries me because he was in such a fantastic moment, like Reece on the other side.

“They were in the best shape they could possibly be. So strong, full of confidence, and quality.”

Speaking after the game, Tuchel said that the left-back felt intense pain in his knee. But it’s good to know he’s getting better now.
