Chelsea Boss Tuchel Sends Grateful Message To Incoming Man United Manager Ralf Rangnick

Giving his honest thoughts on Ralf Rangnick, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said: “Yes, tactically for sure he [Rangnick] is an elite manager.

“He helped me a lot because he was my coach. And then he was one of the main figures to convince me to try coaching.

“He was a huge influence on all of us at this time because he showed us it’s not important to follow people to the toilet in games, people felt defenders followed the strikers in games.

“Before I get carried away and talk too much, he isn’t appointed yet. So let’s respect everybody.”

Rangnick is regarded as a mentor for Tuchel as well as other top German coaches such as Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann.

The 63-year-old is unlikely to be in the dugout for Man United’s game against Chelsea but could take charge of the Red Devils before the Arsenal game next week, as he aims to fix United’s stuttering campaign.
