Following the announcement of his departure from Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos is likely to choose from four clubs vying for his signing – which includes Man United – according to Spanish outlet AS.
It’s said that the Manchester club want to bring the Spaniard in as a partner for Harry Maguire after failing to sign him in 2015.
However, United faces heavy competition for Ramos – with Man City, PSG, and Sevilla all ready to make their own bids for him.
City and PSG are in strong positions to sign the Spanish defender because they have the means to afford his wage demands – which is around €12m a year.
Sevilla, being Ramos’ former club, is also an option but are unlikely to be able to afford his huge wages.
Moreover, United fans remain divided over the prospect of signing the Spanish defender – who could be bought for free soon.
