Man United Manager Names Best Striker In Premier League, Snubs His Star Man

Manchester United interim boss, Ralf Rangnick has named Anthony Martial as one of the best strikers in the Premier League.

The manager said this while reminding the France star of the need to maintain his professionalism, even as he desires to leave the club.

Rangnick had earlier revealed that Martial had refused to be part of the squad for their Premier League clash against Aston Villa last weekend.

But the 26-year-old France international vehemently denied the manager’s claim on social media.

The German later claimed he was misinterpreted and held discussions with Martial ahead of their 3-1 win over Brentford in the Premier League.

Anthony Martial came on as a late substitute on Saturday’s 1-0 over West Ham and played a crucial role in the build-up to Marcus Rashford’s dramatic 93rd-minute winner.

“…I told him ‘listen it’s all about being professional until the very last day’ no matter how long he will stay or want to leave. For me, it’s about being a professional.

“I know that he is a top player, one of the best strikers in the Premier League but we have other players in his position,” he said.

With the win over West Ham, Manchester United now move to the top four in the Premier League after both Arsenal and Tottenham drop points.
