Manchester United Submit Contract Offer To Bayern Munich Midfielder
Manchester United have ‘submitted a contract offer’ to Leon Goretzka, according to Sport Bild, a reliable German source.
The Red Devils want the 26-year-old to join them on a free transfer next summer upon the expiry of his four-year deal at Bayern Munich.
The German is reportedly demanding up to €20 million per year to sign a contract extension while the Bundesliga defending champions are only prepared to offer him a €12 million salary.

The midfielder has a history of running down his contracts, having joined Bayern on a free transfer from Schalke 04 in the summer of 2018. Last year, he featured in 32 games albeit in injury.
Meanwhile, United are understood to be planning ahead should Paul Pogba refuse a contract extension with the club or even choose to exit this summer. PSG are touted to be in the running to sign the Frenchman this summer but no official bid has been made.
