Just In: Man United Tells Cristiano Ronaldo The Day He Must Report To Pre-Season Tour Amid Exit Desires

Cristiano Ronaldo has been told that he must join Man United on their pre-season tour this week, regardless of his apparent desire to leave, the Mirror’s David McDonnell reports.

On Friday, United fly off for a two-and-a-half-week tour in Thailand and Australia on Friday.

Ronaldo is expected to report for training this week and be part of the Red Devils’ squad for the tour.

That is despite the 37-year-old informing the club that he wants to leave United if the right offer arrives.

“Next season will be the first time he won’t play in the Champions League. He needs to play in the competition – it’s what drives him to produce his best, hence why he wants to move,” a source close to Ronaldo is quoted as saying.

Chelsea, Bayern, and Napoli have all been linked with the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, but it’s not clear how financially attractive their offers would be – if they make any.
