“It can happen in football, unfortunately, it happened twice to us, it also happened against Burnley,” Thomas Tuchel told BBC Sport after a 1-1 draw against Man United.
“I am absolutely happy with the performance. We dominated from the first minute, we were aggressive and never stopped attacking. Unfortunately, we scored two goals, one for each side.”
Chelsea did not literally score for Man United but it certainly feels like that. If it was not for Jorginho’s terrible mistake, Sancho would not have had a clear path to Chelsea’s goal.
United remain Chelsea’s bogey team in the Premier League despite their shambolic performances elsewhere. The Blues’ last win over their rivals dates back to 2017.
