Ole Gunnar Solskjaer returned to the Carrington training center one last time shortly after his sacking on 21 November.
The Norwegian specialist remained a popular figure among the Manchester United staff until the end and they wanted to say their goodbyes.
According to the Daily Mail, some people behind the scenes asked Solskjaer why ‘he hadn’t exposed the players who let him down by criticizing them in public.’
Staying true to himself, the 48-year-old refused to bad mouth his players and instead simply remained silent, meeting the controversial question ‘with a smile and shrug of the shoulders’.
The former United boss lost his job as Manchester United manager last year November following a series of poor games and a reported fallout in the dressing room.
