After a protracted transfer saga, Manchester United have finally agreed a deal for Jadon Sancho with Borussia Dortmund and the transfer will be made official after Euro 2020.
According to the Guardian, the Englishman would like to wear the no.7 shirt at Old Trafford. However, the shirt number is currently occupied by summer 2020 arrival Edinson Cavani.
Moreover, the no. 12 which was last worn by Chris Smalling and no. 16 that was worn by the likes of Michael Carrick and Roy Keane would be available for the Uruguayan should he give his shirt to new arrival Jadon Sancho. The 34-year-old briefly used to wear no.16 at Paris Saint-Germain.
Also, Edinson Cavani could select the no. 15 or no. 20 shirt if their current owners (Andreas Pereira and Diogo Dalot respectively) leave Old Trafford as expected at some point later this summer.
Again, the no. 9 shirt which is currently possessed by Anthony Martial could as well be available for Cavani if perhaps the Frenchman leaves Old Trafford this summer.
