Jadon Sancho is poised to make his official debut for Manchester United in their Premier League opener vs Leeds United on August 14, according to The Sun’s Neil Custis – a regular match-going journalist with decent insider info.
Interestingly, the source claimed that the Englishman is set to start in the game, despite only joining training on Monday.
The 21-year-old winger has impressed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer & co with his fitness in training and is likely to play down the left wing against Leeds.
Jadon Sancho will mostly be accompanied by Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood, and Anthony Martial in the attack – with the Frenchman poised to start the game as a no.9 in the absence of veteran Edinson Cavani.
Manchester United boss, Solskjaer recently hinted that he hopes Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane will be on the bench vs Leeds, but it seems he’s changed his mind about Jadon already.
The new United winger was part of the team dinner on Tuesday as he hopes to develop chemistry with his new teammates & enjoy a successful debut campaign at Old Trafford, come August 14.
