Speaking during an interview with ESPN Argentina, Mauricio Pochettino said: “It’s been a very good week for Leo.

“Next week will be a long one, but if all goes well, we hope he can be in the squad and start at a competitive level against Reims,” Pochettino added.

The Argentine gaffer was speaking in the aftermath of Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-2 win against Brest.

Meanwhile, Lionel Messi has so far missed PSG’s last two games despite having some good training sessions as shared by the club on social media.

The Parisians will travel to face Reims on August 29th, in what would be their fourth league game of the season. So far, PSG are yet to drop a point in their domestic campaign for 2021-22.
