Tuchel Confirms Whether Hakim Ziyech Will Feature In The Derby Against Arsenal
Hakim Ziyech picked up an injury during Chelsea’s game against Villareal, making him a doubt for the Arsenal clash.
However, considering the form he has been in coming into the season, Tuchel has explained how Chelsea plan to handle the Moroccan situation.
He said: “He was decisive in every friendly and in the Super Cup against Villarreal. It was unfortunate he got injured but now we have to take care with him.
“We’re happy he’s back on the pitch but a shoulder injury can be tricky. Tomorrow is decisive for him and we’ll see how things go.”

“The good thing is that with a shoulder injury you can still keep your fitness. He has training in his legs.
“Once he feels totally free, hopefully, he can find his performances from pre-season very quickly.”
A longer-term injury would come at the wrong time for Ziyech, considering the competition in Chelsea’s attacking ranks has been added to by the arrival of Romelu Lukaku. So hopefully, the gaffer would know how to manage him and get the best of the Moroccan.
