In an interview with Norwegian journalist Arilas Ould-Saada, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was asked whether Man United will be pursuing more signings before the end of the transfer window on August 31.
He said: “I don’t think much is going to happen. If something happens, it is a bonus.
“You never know what happens in the world of football. But we’ve had a very good window. I am happy with what we’ve done.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly pursuing a loan move for Saul Niguez, but fierce competition from Chelsea probably indicates that Solskjaer isn’t fully confident about that.
On the other hand, the Red Devils will have to sell some players before being able to reinforce their squad, something which looks difficult with less than a week remaining before the end of the window.
