Xavi gives update on Barcelona bid to sign Andreas Christensen for free

According to reliable Catalan journalist Gerard Romero, new Catalan boss Xavi Hernandez is working hard to sign Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen. He is one of the Chelsea players that Barcelona are keeping tabs on.

As per the source, they are following the contract situation of Andreas Christensen whose current deal with the Blues is running out in June.

The Dane has been close to signing a new deal for a while, but the club was frustrated by a late change of demands from the player’s side.
