Barca Coach Xavi Responds To Critics After 3-1 Villarreal Win On Saturday

“Now people won’t say we lack goals. Now they say we’re lucky. Let’s see what they say next week,” Xavi told the media following the away win against Villarreal.

The Barcelona coach went on to explain why the victory was important despite his team not putting in the best of performances.

“Today was a victory of spirit, which is very welcome. You also have to win when you don’t play well or don’t play too well. Today we played worse than the other day against Benfica, where we deserved to win but it didn’t happen.”
