Zidane Informs Man United Board When He Will Be Ready For The Managerial Job

Zinedine Zidane has been contacted by the Man United board who had an idea to invite him to replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as the head coach.

However, according to SportBILD’s chief football writer Christian Falk, the ex-Real Madrid manager told them that he does not feel ready to work in the Premier League, especially in the middle of the season.

It’s claimed that he ‘prefers to take a break’ until the end of the season before making a decision on his future.

Zidane won three Champions League titles with Real Madrid as manager, so he seems to be a logical target for Man United from that point of view.

However, he’s never worked anywhere else and is understood to barely speak English which means his man-management skills would be nowhere near as effective as they were in Spain.

Finally, reports suggested that he’ll be the first choice to succeed Didier Deschamps as the France boss after the World Cup in Qatar – the question is if Zidane is willing to take a project that is bound to be short-term
